"I would never want to live anywhere else. It's a quiet, little community, but i could never live in the city." New Plymouth was originally settled for the abundance of timber, but families have stayed in the secluded area because of their shared interests. Most of the community relishes in having their own space and isolation from their neighbors, but when someone in the community needs something they all run to help. "They're clannish around here," says Della Patrick.
